Visit Scotland

The Scottish Government’s interim pay offer (£750 or 3%, Workplace Report April 2020, page 5) has been applied to the 500-plus staff at Visit Scotland (the national tourist organisation, currently asking everyone not to travel to or around Scotland). It includes a commitment to move iCentre staff to salaried contracts, eliminating the variable minimum 10-hour contracts. There will be a continued commitment to a flexible working culture but also to health and wellbeing, with mental health training, physical health programmes, a 24-hour free counselling service and other support.
