Tackling sexual harassment at work - a guide for union reps (February 2018)

Chapter 5

Disciplinary hearings

[ch 5: pages 49-50]

Any disciplinary hearing must meet the minimum requirements set by the Acas Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures and any more demanding procedure adopted by the employer.

There is information on what is needed for a fair disciplinary hearing and appeal in LRD’s booklet, Disciplinary and grievance procedures — a practical guide for trade union reps (https://www.lrdpublications.org.uk/publications.php?pub=BK&iss=1790).
