A long standing report from the European Commission, Sexual harassment at the workplace in the European Union, together with anecdotal evidence gathered by the TUC, found that women working in male-dominated workplaces, or women who are concentrated in junior positions, are more likely to experience sexual harassment. The TUC warns that a culture of harassment can deter women from entering these workplaces and make those who do work there choose to leave.
