Despite their impact on health, there are no specific regulations aimed at controlling stress, bullying and violence at work. There is specific law on harassment under the Equality Act 2010, but legal protection for workers who are bullied is poor (see pages 142-147. There are also some specific legal provisions to protect some groups of workers against assaults at work (see pages 148-149).
