Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)

The latest Health and Safety Executive (HSE) figures show that 875,000 workers were suffering from work-related stress, depression or anxiety (new or long-standing) in 2022-23, of which 338,000 were new cases. The HSE makes clear that employers should give psychological risks the same priority as physical ones. Its Working Minds campaign aims to help businesses recognise the signs of work-related stress and make tackling issues routine.
