Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)
This chapter explains how the law applies to work-related mental health problems and issues stemming from interpersonal relationships at work — sometimes known as psychosocial hazards. It lays out the guidance, laws and rights that safety reps need to know about to tackle stress, bullying, harassment and violence at work. It examines mental health and discrimination, bullying and harassment, including sexual harassment, and the law and protections covering these issues. Finally, it covers violence, including sector-specific protections; employer liability; compensation for criminal injuries; and dangerous dogs.
