Timis and Sage v Osipov and Protect [2018] EWCA Civ 2321 establishes that an individual co-worker, such as a manager, who recommends dismissal because of the protected disclosure, can be held personally liable for all the reasonably foreseeable losses resulting from the dismissal of a whistleblower, including future lost earnings and injury to feelings.
