Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)

The campaign began when Nicola Thorp, a temporary agency worker, was sent home from work without pay for refusing to wear shoes with two-to-four-inch heels. She launched a petition calling on the government to make it illegal to require women to wear high heels at work and triggered the joint enquiry into discriminatory dress codes.
