Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)

This definition draws on that of a “limb (b)” worker in section 230(3) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and describes workers who generally have a more casual employment relationship than employees. The changes do not apply to those who are genuinely self-employed.
