The HSE report, Work-related fatal injuries in Great Britain, 2023, contains data to March 2023 and shows that 40 (nearly a third) of the 135 workers killed in work-related accidents in 2022-23 were killed as a result of a fall from height — the biggest cause of immediate work-related deaths.
