Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)
The ECJ had ruled that under the WTD, member states must require employers to keep records of individual workers’ actual working time. Without an accurate record, working time rights become “meaningless”. This important ruling was binding on the UK, as it was handed down while the UK was still a member state.
