Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)

The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) aim to protect workers from risk of fire and explosion linked to dangerous substances and potentially explosive atmospheres. The regulations apply to workplaces where any substance or mixture of substances with the potential to create a risk from “energetic (energy-releasing) events”, such as fire and explosions, is present.
