In the first Covid-19 related dismissal case to reach the Court of Appeal, Rodgers v Leeds Laser Cutting Ltd [2022] EWCA Civ 1659, a laser operator who told his manager he would not be returning to work until the lockdown had eased due to concern about the risk to his children had his claim dismissed.
