Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)
Regulation 10 says that employees must be provided with specific “comprehensive and relevant” information about the health and safety risks identified and how to avoid them. The HSE says employers have a duty to provide comprehensible information to workers. This does not have to be in writing, or necessarily in English, but employers should consider providing English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses for workers who need to improve their English.
