As a result of the Building Safety Act 2022, existing duty holders under the CDM 2015, that is clients, designers, principal designers, contractors and principal contractors, have new duties for residential high-rise buildings (HRBs). Their new duties are to plan, manage and monitor their activities in relation to building regulations (see Chapter 8).
