Health and Safety Law 2024 (October 2024)
As a result of these 2015 regulations, health and safety law now only applies to “relevant” self-employed people. These are either self-employed people whose work activity is specifically mentioned in the regulations, or anyone whose work activity poses a risk to the health and safety of others. This is the likelihood of someone else being harmed or injured — members of the public, clients and contractors for example — as a consequence of the work activity.
