Leadership resigns

The board of FNV, the largest union confederation in the Netherlands, has resigned following a strike by its staff.

The strike was a response to accusations of alleged inappropriate behaviour by some members of senior management. The FNV’s supervisory board plans to appoint an interim board, to run operations until new elections.
