Six million in insecure work

Insecure employment is widespread across the UK labour market and costly to workers grappling with the cost of living crisis, according to the Living Wage Foundation. Its research has found that one in five UK workers (19%) are in insecure jobs, while one in 10 (10%) are in insecure jobs that also pay below the real Living Wage. The figures represent 6.1 million and 3.4 million people respectively.
