Tests and vaccinations
[ch 1: page 28]The guidance makes clear that employers should continue to put measures in place to reduce the risk of Covid transmission even where workers have received a negative test result, had the vaccine, or acquired natural immunity.
Any workplace testing must be carried out safely and in an appropriate setting where control measures, such as frequent cleaning, good hygiene and adequate ventilation, are in place to manage the risk of Covid transmission during the testing process and while individuals are waiting for their test result.
Guidance for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can be found at gov.uk, gov.scot, gov.wales, and nidirect.gov.
There is separate guidance on gov.uk about:
• grassroots sport participants, providers and facility operators;
• schools, further education and childcare providers;
• wedding and civil partnership ceremonies, receptions and celebrations; and
• vehicles (for transport operators).
