Statutory exceptions to service provision change
[ch 12: page 455]There will be no service provision change if:
• the commissioning client only intends the new service provider to carry out the activities in connection with a single specific event or task of short-term duration (regulation 3(3)(a)(ii), TUPE); or
• the activities consist wholly or mainly of the supply of goods for the client’s own use (regulation 3(3)(b), TUPE).
