There are two main types of discrimination under the EA 10: direct and indirect discrimination. The EA 10 also prohibits harassment and victimisation. There is extra protection for disabled workers, including the employer’s duty to make reasonable adjustments and legal protection from discrimination “arising from” disability (see page 242-248).
