Appeal

The Acas Code says that employees should be allowed to appeal against any formal performance warning that could lead to dismissal. Appeals should be heard without unreasonable delay, by a manager who was not previously involved in the process and who should be senior to the original decision-maker. The appeal outcome should be confirmed as soon as possible.
