Failure to provide written terms and conditions of employment

An employer who, at the time the unfair dismissal claim was launched, was in breach of the duty to give the employee a written statement of employment particulars (section 2 ERA 96) must pay an extra two to four weeks’ pay (subject to the statutory cap on a week’s pay of £464 (2014-15)).
