4. Drugs and alcohol in the workplace — unions and union reps in action

The Labour Research Department (LRD) contacted national unions and LRD’s workplace contacts to find out how employers are addressing drugs and alcohol at work in practice, provide examples of good practice and look at some of the issues that unions and their reps have faced, both in terms of negotiating policies and protecting and representing members.
