When the homeworker comes into the office

While a permanent homeworker will not have a designated office space it is important that they have somewhere to work on the occasions they come into the office. The organisation may have a hot desk policy where a desk is available for multiple workers at different times, or in a smaller organisation they may be able to use the desk of someone who is on holiday. Some forward planning will be needed so that homeworkers are made to feel welcome in the office.
