[ch 1: page 11]The EA 10 provides individual rights at work to job applicants, employees, ex-employees, workers (including casual and zero hours contract workers and migrant domestic workers), apprentices, temporary agency workers, employed agency workers, most freelancers, police officers, partners, members of a limited liability partnership, barristers and office holders.
A limited company (for example, a worker’s personal service company) can claim direct discrimination (but not victimisation) under the EA 10 in some circumstances (see page 32).
