Specific duties in England

[ch 19: page 133]

In England (and in non-devolved public bodies in Scotland and Wales), public authorities must:

• publish publicly accessible information each year by the end of January to demonstrate compliance with the PSED. The published material must include information about those sharing the protected characteristic who are:

◊ its employees (public bodies with fewer than 150 employees are exempt from this requirement); and

◊ anyone affected by its policies and practices; and

• prepare and publish every four years at least one equality objective to further any of the PSED aims.
