Exceeding the 48-hour maximum working week under the Working Time Regulations can be relevant evidence contributing to the overall picture in a work-related stress claim (Hone v Six Continents Retail Ltd [2006] IRLR 49 (see page 173). So can breaches of the HSE Management Standards on workplace stress (see pages 202-203).
