Bank holidays

There is no statutory right to take leave on bank holidays, any entitlement to leave on these days is purely contractual, although employers are free to include bank holidays as part of the statutory minimum paid holiday entitlement (Campbell & Smith Group v Greenwood [2001] IRLR 588).
