Fixing a date for the hearing

Tribunals have great difficulty managing their hearing schedule. As a general rule, once a hearing date has been fixed, it is very difficult to change it. Take a diary to any hearing, with a note of genuinely unavoidable commitments such as hospital operations, and if possible, dates when a chosen representative is not able to attend a hearing.
