[ch 9: page 161]

Physical hazards and coronavirus

Because of the advice on restricting close personal contact during the coronavirus outbreak, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published guidance on how the medical checks normally required under noise, vibration and ionising radiations legislation can be conducted safely. The guidance is aimed at occupational health providers, appointed doctors and employers.

The guidance, Health and medical surveillance and safety critical medicals: guidance for occupational health providers, appointed doctors and employers during the coronavirus outbreak, can be found on the HSE website.
