4. Direct discrimination

The EA 10 prohibits the following types of discrimination:

• direct discrimination;

• indirect discrimination;

• harassment; and

• victimisation.

There are the following additional rights for disabled workers:

• the duty to make reasonable adjustments; and

• protection from discrimination arising from disability.

This Chapter outlines what amounts to direct discrimination.
