Attendance incentives

Attendance incentives are often negotiated as an add-on to a pay deal, or part of an agreed pay structure. For example, the 2018 pay deal at Allied Glass (Knottingly) included an attendance bonus (for one year only) set at £165 for 100% attendance for each six-month period from 9 December 2018.

However, the risk of discrimination if absence related to a protected characteristic could lead to loss of bonus must be avoided (see page 55).
