Returning to work

Every new mother must take two weeks’ leave after giving birth (four weeks for factory workers), known as compulsory maternity leave. After that, it is up to the woman to decide how much leave to take. An employer cannot refuse to let an employee return to work early, if she has given at least eight weeks’ notice.
