By early June, the number of officially registered COVID-related deaths had passed 50,000 in the UK, and, although the majority of those dying from the virus were older, around 10% were under 65. You may be entitled to some financial support if your husband, wife or civil partner dies. The most important potential payment is the Bereavement Support Payment.
