Health and Safety Law 2020 (August 2020)

Chapter 10

Workers cancelling pre-booked holidays

[ch 10: page 191]

A worker may not want to take holiday they have already booked, because going away to their planned holiday destination has been affected by the pandemic. The law allows employers to insist that workers take pre-booked statutory holiday. Whether they do this is a matter of industrial relations, rather than worker rights.
