The employer has a legal responsibility for workers’ health and safety at work. Workers should receive health and safety information, training and protective clothing and equipment (PPE), all free of charge. For more information on specific issues affecting the health and safety of agency workers and casual workers as well as information on the campaigns conducted by unions, see page 9.
