Who's policing mask use on buses, union asks

Transport union the RMT is seeking to clarify who is policing the wearing of facemasks on buses, and to what extent it is actually happening.

It has written to police and crime commissioners across England asking them if they have plans to ensure bus passengers are wearing facial coverings (on trains checking is being done on occasions by the British Transport Police).

The RMT is also contacting its parliamentary group about contract buses, such as school buses, having different loading levels to general service buses and about the handling of change
