Bank stress payout

A former bank worker was awarded more than £100,000 in an out-of-court

settlement after suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, the first

such case in the banking industry.

Leslie North, a former financial advisor, was diagnosed with the

condition after being put under intolerable pressure to meet increasing

sales targets by his managers at Lloyds Bank (now Lloyds TSB).
