Female temps suffer sickness bias

Women in temporary jobs are more likely than men in similar posts to lose their job if they are often off sick, according to a Finnish study.

“The findings that women were particularly vulnerable is a concern,” said Mike Clinton, an occupational psychologist at King’s College London. “This research provides support for greater protection of temporary workers.”
