Driving examiners

On 17 July nearly 2,000 driving examiners and administrative staff at the Driving Standards Agency took strike action against the threat of office closures, job losses and changes to working practices.

Members of the PCS civil service union were angry that a £300,000 report by consultants Symbia was being implemented despite there being little or no consultation with the union.
