HSE fails to convict construction killers

Prosecutions of companies responsible for construction workers' deaths have fallen from 42% to just 11%, a new report for the construction union USATT has revealed.

Researchers from the Centre for Corporate Accountability examined Health and Safety Executive records from 1998 to 2004 covering the deaths of over 500 construction workers.
