Siemens pay success

Members of PCS civil service union and BECTU broadcasting union working at Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SiS) have secured an improved pay offer following strong votes in favour of industrial action.

The two unions had been preparing to work together to put maximum pressure on the company. Luke Crawley, BECTU assistant general secretary, said that for many members the offer would mean a considerable pay rise.
