Prospect discusses merger with small unions

Prospect is holding merger discussions with four much smaller unions. Only one, BACM-TEAM, is currently affiliated to the TUC. It represents 2,800 working and retired managers in the mining industry.

The others are the 2,000-strong Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers, the 950-member Jersey Civil Service Association and the Association of Principal Fire Officers, representing 600 senior offices in the fire and rescue service.
