Londoners' pay

A large gap has opened up between earnings in the public sector in London and those of other workers in the capital, according to a study by the Battersea and Wandsworth Trades Union Council.

It finds that male white-collar staff in public administration would need an average 24% rise to return them to the position they were in 15 years ago relative to the London average.
