Menopause help

he TUC has published a report calling for unions and employers to do more to help women going through the menopause. According to Working through the change, a survey of 500 workplace health and safety reps found that only 2% of respondents said health and safety policies covered menopause-related issues and 45% of managers didn't recognise the problems linked with the menopause.

The report is available on the web at www.tuc.org.uk/menopause or free with a large SAE from TUC, Congress House, Great Russell Street, WC1B 3LS.
