Unite recognition

General union Unite has won recognition for 10 warehouse workers at Howard Tenens storage and transport depot in Barking, Essex. The employer insisted one unnamed employee of the 10 was not a member. The Central Arbitration Committee awarded recognition, saying that, even if the company was correct, a sufficient majority of the bargaining unit were members.
