Deal secures EasyJet employment in France

Unions and EasyJet management in France have agreed a long-term deal which will safeguard employment in the country and maintain the wages of most staff. Government support is available for what is known as a long-term partial employment scheme (APLD), but it depends on an agreement with the unions. This is now in place. The settlement protects the jobs of 1,800 staff in seven bases in France.
