World Asthma Day

World Asthma Day 2002 is on 7 May and involves healthcare groups and asthma educators in raising awareness about asthma as a serious public health problem throughout the world.

World Asthma Day is held each May in order to increase awareness of asthma; communicate progress in treatment; and involve public authorities, professional organisations and patient groups in running effective management programmes.
