Statement of Trade Union Rights
[page 109]The Employment Rights Bill will mandate employers to give workers a statement of their right to join a trade union. The details of this statement are to be prescribed by regulations. The statement must be given alongside the worker’s written particulars of employment (see page 43), and at such other times as prescribed. The relevant provisions are likely to take effect from October 2026.
